The capital`s militia detained the malefactor who robed two
foreigners that have arrived to Kiev for the Euro-2012.
The 58-year-old sports journalist of the
British "Independent" magazine became the first of two victims. On
June 8 about 4 p.m. he addressed to militia with the statement that he was
robed at LesiUkrainki Boulevard.
On June 11 same division of militia fixed
analogous statement of Irishman. He said that he was plundered by the unknown
man who came to his temporary residence on Bessarabka
under the pretext of postman. The unknown declared that he brought a parcel.
The foreigner let in a "postman" to the room, and, while an Irish
went for scissors to open a package, the thief appropriated his iPhone and escaped.
The foreigner immediately called to the
militia. Within ten minutes the suspect was detained by patrol service. During
the checking on participation in similar crimes it became clear, that it`s the same person who robed an Englishman.
The detainee - the 27-year-old inhabitant of Kiev, was judged earlier
for fraud and illegal drugs transactions. Now concerning him initiated two
criminal cases under article 186 of the Criminal code of Ukraine. The
suspect is arrested.
Its further destiny will be defined by a
consequence and court.
