The head of
MIA pointed out that thanks to
the efforts of the law
enforcement authorities there was no
serious offenses and violent conflicts
during elections in Chernigov.
"1,300 law enforcement officers ensured public order during
the elections"- the Minister said.
"Counting of votes is almost
completed". The ballots are in
the election commissions.
Arsen Avakov also told reporters
that most of the violations,
that were registered during the elections, are covered by
various articles of the criminal
code and the criminal proceedings
will be opened
in all these
cases. Including the incident when
the fake seals of the
election commissions were found. All
offenses, that have been registered
by police officers during the by-elections to the Verkhovna
Rada of Ukraine
on the 205 election district in Chernigov, will
be investigated properly.
